If a thing is defined with a date in the past the graphic shown will be a circle representing the date followed by a winding row of boxes representing the number of days since that date.

If there is not enough space on the display for all the days the last visible row will end in a triangle to signify that the days continue beyond what can be displayed.

If a thing is defined with a date in the future the graphic shown will be a circle representing the date preceded by a winding row of boxes representing the number of days until that date.

If there is not enough space on the display for all the days the first visible row will end in a triangle to signify that the days continue beyond what can be displayed.

If a thing is defined as being 'with or without' the graphic shown will be a set of tally marks.

The current number of days will be shown in black. If the record number of days is greater than the current number of days the difference will be displayed with grey tally marks.
